About…

My name is Kamili Miller and I have been an educator for over 15 years in California and Washington, DC. I have primarily taught elementary education in public, private, and charter schools. The purpose of my blog is to identify that consistent reflection is the key to my growth as a leader and would like to develop a community of education who also believe reflection is essential to ensuring your goals. Reflecting on how I am progressing in this course has allowed me to identify my areas of improvement. I enjoy cooking and reading and some of my favorite dishes I like to make are tacos and crabs. Some of my hobbies include traveling and spending time with family and friends. I have been working in elementary education for years as a grade level chair and 4th grade teacher. One of my professional goals is to complete my doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction and to be able to create curriculum that supports all learners’ needs. Another goal of mine is to transfer from elementary education to the college or university level to become an adjunct professor.
